Virág Kisházy

My name is Virág Kisházy and I was born in April 1987. I live in Vonyarcvashegy, which is a village on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. I live in a detached house with my mother, who's an assistant (unfortunately my father died 2 years ago). I have 2 older brothers - 29 and 30 - both of them have a family and also children, they live in Zalaegerszeg. Barna is a masseur, and Tamás works for a construction company.

I study at Kölcsey Ferenc Gimnázium, in an English bilingual class. I have one more year here and after that I'd like to study at the College of Communication in Budapest. I stay at the students' hostel during the week, so I go home only on Fridays. I like studying languages and perhaps my favourite subject is Hungarian literature. I’m also interested in nature, both in studying and going on trips.

I play the flute for 8 years and also play in a brass band. I really like music, both classical and pop.

I don’t have too much free time but in spite of this, I have plenty of hobbies. My favourite is making jewellery (of a special “plastic clay”)- and selling these is my job in the summer and sometimes at weekends, as well. I really like glass painting and making decorations, as well as taking photographs. I think photographing nature and trees and lakes is the best. And not least, I love doing sports. I did kick-boxing for 3 years but I had to stop it because it needed too much time :( I live next to Lake Balaton so in the summer I do all kinds of water sports possible. I swim a lot, do windsurfing, and recently I'm trying to learn water-skiing (with more and less success :) but I don't think myself to be hopeless :)) I'm waiting for summer- that's my favourite season because the weather is sunny then- I love lying and sunbathing on the shore.
