Birna Jódís Magnúsdóttir

My name is Birna Jódís Magnúsdóttir, and I'm a 17 years old (‘87) Icelandic girl from a small town called Höfn. Höfn is in the South-East part of Iceland with a population of 2000. I live at 3 places. At my boyfriends place, his name is Elvar (he is also a member of the water and fire project), at my parents house, which is 7 kilometers from Höfn, and my family also owns a farm about 30 kilometers from Höfn. I stay there sometimes at weekends and also a bit in the summer.

My parents names are Guðrún and Magnús. My mother is a headmaster of a dormitory and my father is a computer engineer. I have a 5 year old sister, her name is Arndís, and I have a 21 year old brother named Guðjón. He lives in the capital city of Iceland, Reykjavík, and he's studying biochemistry in the university. I have a little chihuahua called Mía. I consider her a part of the family also :)

I go to FAS which is the college in Höfn. I'm studying Sociology, History, English and some other things.

My main hobby is music. But I also like reading, traveling, singing, acting, drawing, going to the gym, shopping(!), photography, computers, fashion, dogs, horses, mysticism, history, TV shows and movies.

I like listening to music and making some too. My favorite bands and artists are many, but for example: Foo fighters, Audioslave, Avril Lavigne, Oasis, Soundgarden, Skunk Anansie, No Doubt, Jet black Joe (an Icelandic one), Pearl Jam, System of a down, Prodigy, Placebo, Quarashi (also an Icelandic one), Emiliana Torrini, Blur, Metallica, Nirvana, Pixies, Guns N’Roses, Muse, Garbage, Evanescence, REM, The Cardigans, Moby, Iron Maiden...

Bands and artists I don't like: Lindsay Lohan!!, JoJo (or whatever), Maroon 5, Eminem, 50 Cent...
