Sigurður Óskar Jónsson

This is something about me.

My name is Sigurður Óskar Jónsson. I'm a 17 year old guy and my birthday is July 31. I'm around 190 cm tall, with short brown hair and blue eyes. I use shoes number 50.

I live on a farm about 10 km away from my school which is located in the South-east of Iceland. On the farm, I live with my parents, my mother's parents and my two younger brothers. We have 22 cows and around 200 sheep, and also some chicken, but just for ourselves. The farm is called Stapi, which actually means a rock that stands up from the surface. The house is about 300 meters from that particular rock. There is a lake nearby and the bigger half of it belongs to me and my family. You can catch trout there in the summer time. Our land has a lot of hills on it, which can be quite difficult to walk in if you’re not in good shape.

In my school I am learning all kinds of things, I am emphasizing in Icelandic, geography, geology, and medium (TV, radio, newspapers, etc.) My cousin is studying geology in a university in California and therefore I would like to learn that so we can have something to talk about.

My hobbies are very many, I like: mythology, although I don’t read a lot. I also like sports, mainly football, handball, badminton and track and field. I like good television shows and good movies. My favorite movies are: “The Untouchables” (a 1987 movie about the New York mafia), A Beautiful Mind (Russell Crowe starring a mathematician) and of course “The Lord of the Rings” movies.
