Sara Eik Sigurgeirsdóttir

Hello everybody. My name is Sara Eik and I'm an 18 year old girl - (16.01.87). I come from a small town in Iceland, Höfn, and I've lived there all my life. Lobster is the sign for the town : )

My family... Well, I'm divorced and a mother of four children... No no, just joking! I have nice parents, two brothers and three sisters. My oldest sister has two daughters, and there are also cats and dogs all around me... but I just have two frogs by myself.

Now you maybe think that my friends must be some crazy people, but no, they are just pretty normal I think. I like being with them. We have done so much together, like going for a road trip for one weekend or something, camping... and swimming in (cold) lakes in the summer. Yes, we are true Vikings! ; )

My family has a very cosy summerhouse, not far away from Höfn, and I love being there. I also love traveling. Every autumn I go with my father and a group of other people on a jeep trip to the highland of Iceland. We have gone to many beautiful places.

Sport, music, acting and drawing are also my hobbies.

"What are you doing in the school" was one of the points we should think about when we wrote this. And guess what, I'm learning! : ) I'm learning Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Sociology and a few languages. After I've finished my work in FAS, (2006) I'm going to Denmark to learn more. I want to be an optician. I was so lucky to get a job in a glasses-shop in Reykjavik, were I'm going to work next summer.

Now we just have to wait and see if we are coming to visit you to Hungary in October and meet you again in Iceland after almost a year! I so much hope we will get this chance to meet and get to know each others countries! Looking forward to seeing you!
