Noémi Mátraházi

Hello everybody!

My name is Noémi Mátraházi, I'm a 18 year old girl. I 'm also called Mimi. I've been studying at Kölcsey Ferenc high school for 4 years and we have one more year left. It is a bilingual class and I chose this because I love foreign languages and I'm planning to be a translator or a tour guide in the future.

I love to meet people from other countries, know people who think in a different way, to know how they see the world and study from them. Last year I was in Ecuador for a year as an exchange student and it was a great experience, my host family was really very nice, and I made a lot of good friends there from different parts of the world.

My family consists of 4 members, my mom is a teacher, she is a teacher in a primary school, my father is an entrepreneur, he does a lot of things, mainly courses of communication, how to drive a company well, etc. I have a sister who is 15 years old, now she studies in my school. Actually everybody from my family chose Kölcsey:) It's like a tradition. We live in the suburb of the town, in the green-belt, a nice, quiet place.

We live in a detached house, which has a huge terrace, which I like a lot. In the summer we often do a grill party, with the friends of the family.

In my free time I like going out, go to a cafe, drink something, talk to my friends. In the evening I go to the gym and once a week I do aerobics. And on Fridays I can stay out longer, we go to the disco if there's something good or to the cinema or to our favourite restaurant.

I like many kinds of music, one of my favourites is Coldplay, and the music of Latin America, especially regueton.

I applied to this Water and Fire program because I would like to know you all and your country and I feel really lucky to have Sara Eik as my partner:)
